How should I clean gold?
Warm water, a drop of washing-up liquid and a soft toothbrush. Rinse, then dry with the cloth in your box.
And pearls?
Pearls go on last and come off first. Wipe them with a soft dry cloth after wearing, and never soak them.
Can I swim or shower in it?
Gold won't mind, but chlorine and salt dull stones and wear settings. Take pieces off for the pool, the gym and the garden.
How do I store pieces?
Apart, so they don't scratch each other: in the oak box at home and the linen pouch when travelling.
Is white gold plated?
Our white gold is alloyed with palladium and lightly rhodium plated. We replate it free whenever it warms in tone.
