TC·02 How we work

Five stones, in order.

  1. Talk to your family doctor

    You

Ask for a referral, or for your records to be sent to us. No family doctor? Tell us and we'll still see you.

  2. An assessment

    Tamarack

Forty minutes with a physician or nurse practitioner, in Winnipeg or by video: your history and what you've already tried.

  3. A decision, together

    Tamarack, with you

Cannabis may be right for you, or not. Either way we explain why, and write to your family doctor.

  4. Register with a licensed seller

    You, then the seller

If we provide a medical document, you choose a seller from Health Canada's list. We send them the original.

  5. Reviews

    Tamarack

We see you again to check how it's going and whether to continue. A medical document lasts a year at most.

Your assessment and medical document$0

Manitoba's college standard forbids charging you for either. We never will.

TC·04 Registering

Your document, their checks.

Step 01

Choose a seller

From Health Canada's list of licensed sellers for medical purposes. We won't choose for you.

Step 02

We send the original

Sellers need the original medical document. We send it directly and confirm it when they call.

Step 03

They register you

The seller registers you and gives you a registration document. Orders are shipped to you.

TC·05 Questions

Asked, answered plainly.

Will I get a medical document?
Only if, after your assessment, it's right for you. Plenty of people leave with a different plan, and that's a good outcome too.
What does it cost?
Nothing. There's no charge to you for the assessment or for the medical document.
Will you tell me which product to buy?
We'll talk about your care, including the form and daily amount in your document. We don't recommend brands or sellers.
Do I need a family doctor?
It helps, and we'll keep them informed. If you don't have one we'll still see you, and help you find one.
