- 6 yrmajor defects warranty
- $0card surcharges
What might it cost?
An estimate to plan with, not a quote. Your fixed-price contract lists every inclusion, and any provisional sums (an allowance for work we can't price until we see it) with their amounts.
Pay as it's built, not before.
A deposit of no more than 10%, then a payment as each stage is finished and inspected. Slide the deposit to see the limit.
When you pay
Contract price
Insurance first. Home building compensation cover must be in place, and the certificate in your hands, before you pay anything at all.
Five business days to change your mind. Contracts over $20,000 come with a cooling-off period. We'll point it out before you sign.
Changes in writing, priced first. Every variation is written down, priced and signed by you before the work starts. No surprises at the end.
Provisional sums, explained. Where we can't price something yet (like rock under the slab), the contract says so, with an amount and how it's worked out.
Slab to keys, week by week.
Pick a start month and how much weather to allow for. Most Hunter builds lose ten working days to rain.
How long it takes
Covered, long after handover.
Your warranty clock
Statutory warranties under the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW), counted from completion. They apply whether or not they're in your contract.
On every contract of $20,000 or more, with the certificate given to you before we take a cent.
Check it on the NSW Government's licence check before you sign. [Licence number placeholder]
Tell us in writing; we'll inspect within 10 business days and give you a date.
Straight answers.
Is the estimate a quote?
No. It's a range to plan with. After a site visit and plans, you get a fixed-price contract that lists every inclusion and any provisional sums.
How much is the deposit?
Never more than 10% of the contract price, and only once your insurance certificate is in your hands.
What if the build runs late?
The contract sets the finish date and how extensions of time work (weather, variations you ask for). We'll tell you in writing the day we know.
Do you charge card surcharges?
No. Surcharges on eftpos, Mastercard and Visa ended in October 2026, and we never charged them.
