Every panel placed, every kilowatt counted.
Halden designs and installs rooftop solar and batteries for homes in the Hunter. Drag panels onto the roof and watch the size, the output and the price change as you go. Your written quote will match it panel for panel.
Licensed electricians, accredited designers, no subcontractors. Written quotes within two days of the roof check. 10-year workmanship warranty.
Drag panels to arrange them. Shade and the west roof are counted.
Your bill, split by where the power came from.
Typical homes we've fitted with a 6.6 kW system, by how much power they use in a day. The total is what's left to pay the grid each quarter.
Sample figures for the template: 6.6 kW north-facing array, 10 kWh battery, 32c per kWh from the grid, no feed-in credit counted. Replace with your own measured data and say how it was measured.
What you get that a cheap quote leaves out.
The panel price is the easy part to compare. The rest decides whether the system still pays for itself in year twelve.

Designed like an electrical job, lived with like an appliance.
Measured, not guessed
We climb the roof, measure each face and log the shade from every tree and chimney through the year. The plan you approve is drawn from those numbers.
Sized to how you live New
Send us a year of meter data and we size the system to the hours you actually use power, not a rule of thumb. Planning an EV or a heat pump? Tell us and we'll allow for it.
A fixed price in writing
Your quote lists every panel, the inverter, the battery and the switchboard work. The price doesn't move on install day.
Batteries that earn their place
We only suggest a battery when the numbers say it pays back inside its warranty. Sometimes they don't, and we'll show you why.
One crew, one day
Most homes are done between breakfast and dinner, with power off for under an hour. We take the packaging away with us.
Your switchboard, checked
Every install includes a switchboard safety check. If it needs work, you get the price before we start, not after.
Every panel, on your phone New
See what each panel makes, hour by hour. We check every system monthly and call you if one panel falls behind its neighbours.
A first-year guarantee
If your system makes less than 90% of our estimate in its first year, we come back and fix it, or pay the difference.
One price, the whole job.
Installed prices after the small-scale rebate, including the switchboard check, monitoring and a 10-year workmanship warranty.

PricesStraight answers.
- Will solar work on my roof?
- North, east and west roofs all work; west roofs make about 15% less but match evening use better. Heavy shade is the main reason we'd say no, and we'll tell you at the roof check.
- Do I need a battery?
- Only if you use most of your power in the evening, or you want backup. The bill chart above shows the difference for typical homes; your quote shows it for yours.
- How long until it pays for itself?
- For most homes in our area, four to six years for solar alone. Your quote gives your own estimate, with the assumptions written out.
- What happens in a blackout?
- Solar alone switches off, as the rules require. With a battery and backup circuits, your fridge, lights and Wi-Fi keep running.
- What if a panel fails?
- Our monitoring usually spots it before you do. We replace it under the manufacturer's warranty and handle the claim.
- Can I add more later?
- Yes. Every inverter we fit is battery-ready, and we leave room on the plan for more panels where the roof allows.
