This is a guide. Recipes and suppliers change, so check the label or ask us every time, especially for a severe allergy.
How we handle allergens.
- Every boxed item carries a label with its ingredients and a bold 'Contains' line, using the plain English allergen names.
- Tree nuts are named one by one: almond, hazelnut, pistachio.
- 'May be present' means we make it alongside that allergen, not that it's in the recipe.
- Staff can show you the ingredients of anything on the counter. Just ask.
Gluten. In Australia, 'gluten free' means no detectable gluten. Our friands and macarons are made without gluten ingredients, but they're baked in a kitchen full of flour, so we don't call them gluten free. If you have coeliac disease, please don't rely on them.
Anaphylaxis. If you've been prescribed an adrenaline injector, we'd rather you didn't eat anything from a kitchen like ours without talking to us first.
