Consultation
Forty-five minutes with a doctor or nurse practitioner, in person.
Time to think
A written plan with risks, downtime and costs, and at least a week.
Treatment
With the practitioner you met, if you decide to go ahead.
Review
A check two to six weeks later, included.

A pause, on purpose.
At least a week between your consultation and a first treatment, with a written plan to take home. Questions in between are welcome, and changing your mind is fine.

Laser for redness
from $290- Light energy aimed at small blood vessels
- Usually two to four sessions
- Redness and swelling for one to three days
- Possible bruising for up to a week
- Burns, blistering or pigment changes
- Rarely, scarring; darker skin types need extra care
Laser hair reduction
from $140- Laser aimed at hair roots
- Six to eight sessions, four to eight weeks apart
- Redness for a few hours
- Shave, don't wax, between sessions
- Burns, blistering or pigment changes
- Results vary; some hair grows back
