What we'll always do.
Charge to you$0
For assessments, reviews and a medical document. BC's college standard forbids charging you for any of them.
Ties to cannabis companiesNone
We don't own, work for or take anything from any producer or seller, and we don't recommend one.
Reviews3–6 months
The same clinician sees you again, at least every three to six months, while you use it.
HL·03 A year of care

A medical document lasts a year at most. Here's what a typical first year looks like.

HL·04 Questions
Asked, answered plainly.
Will I get a medical document?
Only if, after your assessment, cannabis is right for you. Plenty of people leave with a different plan, and that's a good outcome too.
What does it cost?
Nothing. There's no charge to you for assessments, reviews or a medical document.
Do I need a family doctor or nurse practitioner?
We work best alongside one, and BC's college expects it. If you don't have one, book anyway: we'll talk about how to share your care, and help you find one through the Health Connect Registry.
Will you tell me which product or seller to use?
We'll talk about your care, including the form and daily amount in your medical document. We don't recommend brands or sellers.
Can I visit by video?
Yes, for most visits. Some people need to come in, for example for an examination; we'll tell you.
