I deadlifted my bodyweight at 52. My kids think I've joined a cult. It's a gym.

Questions

Asked at the front desk.

I've never lifted a barbell. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Most members hadn't. Your coach starts you with a broomstick-light bar and builds from there, and every class has an easier version of everything.

Do I need to be fit first?

No. That's what the classes are for. We'd rather you came in unfit and kept coming than waited until you felt ready.

What about injuries?

Tell your coach at the onboarding chat. We'll work around it, and refer you to a physio if it needs one. We're not a substitute for medical advice.

Is there a joining fee or contract?

No joining fee and no contract. Memberships are billed weekly and stop the week you cancel, online, without a phone call.

Can I bring my teenager?

Members 15 and over can join with a parent's consent. Under-15s are welcome at Run club with a parent.
