Know your rights on every site.
Working through an agency doesn't mean fewer rights. Here they are, in plain words, with who to call if something's wrong.
Getting paid properly.
Every pay, showing your hours, rate, loadings, tax and super.
Paid into your own fund, on your ordinary hours.
Paid instead of leave. After six months (twelve with a small business), you can ask to become permanent if your work has become regular and ongoing.
On site, every day.
- You can stop work you reasonably believe puts you at serious risk, and tell your supervisor. We'll back you.
- You get a site induction before you start, and the PPE the job needs.
- Talk about your pay with anyone. Since December 2022, contracts can't stop you.
- Trial shifts are paid, apart from a short, supervised demonstration of a skill.
- If a same job, same pay order covers your site, you get at least what the host pays its own staff.

Who is my employer, Fieldwork or the site?
For labour hire, we are. We pay you, hold your super and are responsible for your entitlements, and the site directs your day-to-day work.
What if I'm hurt at work?
Tell your supervisor and us straight away. You're covered by our WorkCover Queensland insurance, and we'll help you lodge a claim.
Can I say no to a job?
Yes, any job, without it counting against you.
How do I check you're licensed?
Search for Fieldwork on Queensland's public labour hire licence register. Our licence number is at the bottom of every page.
