Network approval times vary by distributor; we chase it and tell you if it moves your date.
Your install day sets the rest. Choose a date to see when each step happens. Network approval is the one we can't control; we chase it and tell you if it moves.
The power's off for about an hour while we connect to your switchboard. We'll tell you when, so you can plan around the fridge.
Your rights as a customer.
- A written quote with the system, the price, the expected output and the payment terms, before you agree to anything.
- Ten business days to cancel, if you agreed to buy at your door or on the phone without asking us to call. We don't door-knock or cold call.
- Your deposit is small and shown on the quote. The rest is due after switch-on.
- Warranties that are yours whatever happens to us: the makers' product warranties, plus our five years on workmanship.
Check our accreditation. Our installers are accredited by Solar Accreditation Australia. Their numbers are in the footer and on your paperwork.
Something wrong? Call us first. If we can't fix it, the Queensland Office of Fair Trading can help.
Good questions.
Will it work in a blackout?
Solar alone switches off in a blackout, for the safety of line workers. A battery with backup can keep some circuits running; ask us which ones.
Do I need a new meter?
Usually your retailer's metering provider changes it after installation, at no cost to you in most cases. Until then, the system may not export.
How long do panels last?
Most come with a 25-year performance warranty. Inverters usually last 10 to 15 years.
