Know the price before the van pulls up.
Keel is a crew of licensed plumbers and electricians working out of West Gosford. Pick the job, how soon and the kind of place: the estimate moves as you do, and the fixed price we give you on site lands inside it.
Licensed in NSW: Licence No. [placeholder] (plumbing, drainage, gas) and Licence No. [placeholder] (electrical). Estimates are indicative; the fixed price is set on site.
Includes the jetter and a camera look so you see what caused it.
What turning up properly looks like.
Most complaints about tradies are about time and money: when they arrive and what the bill says. So those are the two things we measure and publish.
Sample figures for the template. Replace with the business's own measured response times and say how they were measured (for example, median of the last 12 months of jobs).
One call for the water, the power and the hot water.
A plumber and an electrician in the same van saves you a second visit when a job crosses over, like a new hot water system on its own circuit.
Leaks, taps and toilets
Dripping taps, running cisterns, burst pipes and the leak you can hear but can't see.
from $160 · most done in an hour
Blocked drains
Cleared with a jetter, then a camera look down the line so you see what caused it and whether it'll come back.

Power points, lights and fans
Extra points where you actually need them, LED downlights and ceiling fans, fitted neatly with no plaster dust left behind.

Switchboards and safety switches
Old ceramic fuses swapped for a modern board with a safety switch on every circuit, and a compliance certificate.

EV chargers New
A 7 kW wall charger on its own circuit, with a check that your switchboard and supply can take it first.
from $1,350 · single phase
Smoke alarms
240 V interconnected alarms, so one going off sets off the rest. Rentals and sales, certified.
from $480 · three alarms
Repairs, same day
Elements, thermostats and valves for electric and gas systems. The van carries the common parts.
from $240 · electric or gas
Replacements, honestly compared

Your call-out fee, written down.
The first half hour is a flat service call. Travel depends on your zone; after-hours work carries a loading. Parts and any extra time are on the fixed price we give you before starting.

What's in the price that an hourly rate leaves out.
An hourly rate looks cheap on the phone. These are the things that decide what you actually pay, and whether you'd have us back.

Straight answers.
- How close is the estimate to the final price?
- The fixed price we give you on site sits inside the range for that job, unless we find something the estimate can't see, like a cracked pipe under a slab. If that happens we stop, show you, and price it before carrying on.
- Do you charge to quote?
- The service call covers the first half hour, which is usually enough to fix small jobs outright. For bigger work, like a switchboard or a new hot water system, the on-site quote is free.
- What counts as an emergency?
- Water you can't stop, no power to the house, a gas smell, sparking or burning smells, or a blocked only-toilet. If you're not sure, call: we'd rather tell you it can wait.
- Are you licensed and insured?
- Yes. Our licence numbers are in the footer and on the about page, and you can check them with NSW Fair Trading. We carry $20 million public liability.
- Do you do rentals and strata?
- Yes. We can deal with your property manager directly, send invoices to the agency, and leave smoke alarm certificates for the file.
- How do I pay?
- Card or tap on the day, or bank transfer within seven days. Bigger jobs take a deposit for parts, and never more than a third of the price.
