Three photos that make a quote exact.

Most quotes that come back as "we'll need to look" are missing one of these. With them, we can usually give a fixed price by text the same day.

Plumbing and hot water

The label on the unit

The sticker on the side of the hot water system tells us its size, age and whether it's gas or electric. Same for a tap: the brand is on the handle or the base.

The problem, from a step back

A close-up shows the leak; a wider shot shows the pipes around it, the access and whether we need to work in a cupboard or a roof.

Fuses or circuit breakers, how many safety switches, and any black backing board (possible asbestos) are all visible in one photo.

Where you want it

For new points, lights or a charger, a photo of the wall and the nearest existing outlet tells us how far the cable has to run.

Before you send it.

Is the estimate the price?
No. It's an indicative range from our sample price list. The fixed price comes from us, in writing, after we've seen the photos or the job, and it normally lands inside the range.
Can I quote more than one job?
Yes. Add jobs from the estimate on the home page and they'll appear here, or list them in the details box. One visit for several jobs means one service call.
I'm a property manager. Can you deal with the tenant?
Yes. Tick the box in step four and we'll arrange access with the tenant directly, invoice the agency and send certificates to your file.
What happens to my details?
They're used to quote and do the job, kept in our job system, and never sold or shared. The privacy policy (supplied at build time) has the detail.
